So in last week’s Finds of the Week post I showed you what I found on a budget of $5. I mentioned that I was tempted to break the budget for some springform baking pans that were $3.50 each, but I resisted.
This is why.
This week I found two springform pans for $1 each at a different thrift store. That ‘s really where they should be priced. The $3.50 ones from last week were still sitting on the shelf in that other thrift store yesterday.
I’m not sure what kind of baking the vintage pan in the front is for, but for 50 cents I thought it was cool.
These will all be added to my craft room bookcase for storage.
I’ve been looking for a slender paper towel holder for my craft room so I can keep a roll handy but off my desk. This wooden one was $1 and is perfect for where I want to put it.
The pretty wooden flower caught my eye for twenty five cents. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it but I love that it’s unusual. I’ve never seen one before.
Now what the heck I’m going to do with these sweet little wooden bunnies I don’ t know, but I fell in love with their naively hand painted look… and I couldn’t resist the set for 25 cents.
They have holes in their bottoms so I’m wondering if they were originally on sticks or something.
I’ve been looking for a lap desk for some time. I sometimes do paperwork, like balancing bank statements and paying bills, while watching TV and this will make it much easier.
Even though this is not vintage the top has a very abstract 70s look to me, and it needs a makeover.
It was a good deal at $2 and the bottom is hot pink, which totally works for me. The handy strap will make for easy hanging.
This vintage four piece set of GMI enamel bowls had me with the pink roses and the silver trim. I haven’t decided if I’m going to sell these or repurpose them.
And last but certainly not least these sweet little pink patent shoes stole my thrifting heart. They remind me of a pair I had as a little girl, and I couldn’t resist them for $1. They wouldn’t let the little girl inside me leave the store without them. I had no choice but to bring them home.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 🙂
Has anything stolen your thrifting heart lately?
Thanks so much for reading and until next time… keep on keepin’ on.
