Finds of the week #67

Happy Thrifty Tuesday friends!

This week I found some really great things.

Like this cutie patootie vintage ceramic Relpo blue lamb planter.

Just look at that sweet face.

Radnor Staffordshire Bone Chine Flower Candle Holders

These vintage hand made bone china floral candle holders are marked Radnor, Staffordshire.

I saw this wooden tray at a moving sale. I was attracted to it by what looked like carved designs. The gentleman having the sale saw me looking at it and came over to show me the magic.

You pull the handle up and the whole thing pops up.

How fun!

He told me they bought it in India in the 70s.

handmade knitted apple pot holders

These hand made knitted apple pot holders are so cute… worms and all.

Anthropomorphic snowball shelf sitter

And this vintage anthropomorphic sleeping snowball with skates is so unique. I’ve never seen anything like her. Look at that happy face! She obviously had a great day on the skating rink.

Isn’t she sweet?

I’m guessing she’s a shelf sitter, and for now she’s a keeper… or should I say a shelf sleeper keeper :).

The others are available in my etsy shop.

Thanks so much for reading and until next time…

keep on keepin’ on!

    What wonderful treasures.
That sleeping snowball is so cute and just darn right adorable. I do love that hand made carved basket tho

    1. Thanks Colleen. The sleeping snowball is my fave thing from this week, although the basket is pretty cool.

  2. Lots of sweet faces and sweet colors this week! But that wooden…..basket? That’s amazing!!! You just have to figure that didn’t come out of any factory. Seems it would have to be hand made, doesn’t it? Another great week! I’m off thrifting on Thursday with some of my friends who are visiting from England! Wish us as good of luck as you have! Dona

    1. That basket amazes me too. I can’t imagine being able to make something like that. I do wish you luck. I hope you find some real treasures. It’s always fun to thrift with friends.

  3. Great stuff! I would have grabbed all of it for my booth! Love the apple potholders with the worms!

    1. Thanks AnnMarie! They are pretty cute.

  4. Wonderful finds…love each one! The planter is especially sweet!

    1. Thanks Cecilia. I’ve never seen the snowball before and it’s a definite keeper.
