Finds of the Week #10

Happy Saturday friends!
It was a pretty light thrifting week for me, but I found two fabulous items for this coming gardening season… and some other treasures.

First… the planters.

Perfect for hanging things.vintage wall planterThis vintage metal wall basket planter is one of my favourites that I’ve ever found.
It’s a great size, has a lot of great details, and I pretty much think it’s perfect just the way it is.

This vintage set of candle holders are really sweet, and still have their blingy chandelier crystals.

Check out these faces.

I love that the two are similar, but very different.

vintage plastic picture frame

I thought this picture frame was wood until I picked it up. It’s actually plastic, but it looks amazing with all its details. It’s a perfect candidate for a makeover.

That’s it for this week. I hope you found some treasures too. Thanks so much for reading!
Keep on thrifting!

    1. Thanks so much Patricia! I hope that with the snow finally gone and spring finally arriving I'll be able to do some much put off makeover projects outside. It's OK to call my treasures junk because in my world junk is definitely cool.

  2. The planters are perfect! Love the regal looking candlesticks too! Hmmm, wondering what you will do to make them more perfect?! The frame does look like wood….it's pretty nice for plastic. I had a light thrifting week too but did pick up my first piece of Jadeite….keeping it for awhile!

  3. Funny, I had a light week too. I think you made out better than I did, Tuula! Looking forward to seeing all the "makeovers." Hope the rest of your week-end is great!

  4. Love all your finds. The planters are great, but those candlestick holders are fab! I got nada this week, just veggie plants for the garden. 🙂

  5. Sweet cherubs – they would fit right in with the crowd in my living room. An ornate plastic frame looks great in the garden. Are you planning to use it there?
