How to Make a Paper Doily Spring Wreath
Can you have spring fever in February?
I’m not sure, but I definitely have spring on the brain. I call this my “Crocuses In the Snow” Spring Wreath.
Crocuses are one of the first spring flowers to show themselves here, often popping their pretty heads up through the snow.
Supplies:
150 4″ paper doilies
Stapler
Glue Gun
Floral bits
Cardboard circle 12″ across
This past weekend, while I was enjoying the beauty of the snow, I started thinking about making a wreath that was both winter and spring.
So I pulled out my stash of 4″ paper doilies from the dollar store and started rolling, and stapling,
without even knowing exactly what I was going to make.
After I had a pile of these rolled doilies I decided to cut out a cardboard circle to attach them to. Then I just started gluing.
It was a little too wintry for me once all the doilies were attached, so I added some pinks. I just tucked floral bits in here and there.
This was sooo easy to make. I rolled and stapled the doilies while watching TV, and it didn’t seem to take very long at all.
This wreath reminds me that spring is coming, and that before I know it the real crocuses will be blooming. I can’t wait!
Thanks so much for reading!
So beautiful, Tuula! I love the added pink. 🙂
This is so clever! I never would have thought to use a doily.

Oh my gosh Tuula! That is one gorgeous wreath! You know I love them and the time you took to make all of those little cone shapes sure paid off! So beautiful!
This is really neat! I love it! How fun! Thanks for sharing this! =D
You must be doily-nutty after rolling all those for the wreath. However it was worth it – the wreath is lovely and love the pops of pink.
Tuula, you know I just love your crafts. This is SO pretty!
Oh my goodness, that is beautiful. Really stunning.
Gorgeous Tuula – absolutely gorgeous!
How many wreaths are in your home now? lol
