Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Christmas is almost here and I want to wish everyone all the best for the holiday season. This time last year I had no idea of what a blog even was, let alone the thought of starting one of my own. Now, here I am with my own blog and loving it!

Christmas-2012

During the past 6 months of blogging I’ve met so many fabulous bloggers from around the world. It reminds me of how small this planet really is. There are great people on the other side of the planet who like to do the same things that I like to do. Who would have thought?

This is my last post of 2012. I’m taking some blogging time off over the holidays, but I’ll be back in the New Year. I have a lot of projects in store for January including a paint treatment for my craft room floor, posting the tutorial about how I built my craft room bookcases, and getting started on my guest room makeover. And that’s just the beginning. I have so much more in store for this little blog of mine.

I’m so looking forward to 2013. This creative community continues to inspire me. And if I have inspired just one person, then that is enough for me.

These photos aren’t the best quality, but my little digital camera does the best it can. Keep in mind that the cords aren’t usually visible because we usually have snow by this time, but when I took these pictures on Thursday we didn’t have any yet. And right now we only have a dusting.

About 75% of our outdoor decorations were either thrifted or given to us by people who no longer wanted them, which includes all of the blow molds except the Nativity Scene.

We usually buy new lights because we are slowly switching over to LED. We add a little bit every year, and we enjoy it so much.  It’s our way of saying Merry Christmas to everyone who passes by.

So to those of you who, like me, celebrate Christmas I wish you all a very, very Merry one. And to those of you who celebrate in a different way I wish you all a joyous celebration.

Thank you so very much for reading! See you in 2013!
