Pink and Pearls Mirror Makeover
I found it at a thrift store for $2 and I snapped it up. It’sΒ justΒ one of thoseΒ typical gold plastic mirrors thatΒ I’ve seenΒ many timesΒ in the past, and I just walked on by. Not this time. I knew exactly what I was going to do with it the second I bought it. OK… not the second, but pretty close to it. Here’s what it looked like when I brought it home.
I cleaned it up andΒ covered the mirror with paper,Β with the help of some painter’s tape, to protect it while IΒ spray painted it.
Here it is with a coat of a white spray primer.
Here it is with 2 coats of a lovely pink. I love this colour. It’s s-o-o-o delicious! When I finished spray painting I really liked it, but I thought it was missing that extra somethin’, somethin’.
I dug into my Christmas decorations and found some faux pearl garland and glued that to the inside of the mirror with my glue gun. I used my glue gun because I wanted it to be easily removable in the future.
Here are some close ups.
So you don’t have to scroll up, here’s the before again.
And here’s the after.
Oh, that is definitely pink-a-licious!! Love the color and adding the pearls was the icing on the cake!
Thanks so much for sharing and have a great night!
