Pink Thrifted Finds
Here are just a few that I found before Christmas.
This small pink depression glass pitcher has a lovely grapes pattern.
Does the top and spout look like a pink baby elephant head to you? Or is it just me?
A Royal Stafford pink teacup and saucer with gold edging and pretty flowers inside the teacup…
and on the saucer.
A pink Windsor Diamond depression glass creamer from the 30s or 40s.
A Paragon pale pink bone china teacup and saucer with lovely gold details and a beautiful rose inside the teacup…
and on the saucer.
I have a thing for teacups that are plain on the outside and gorgeous on the inside.
And last but not least this peacock ceramic mantle clock. It has a sticker on the bottom marked DBE Montreal, Quebec. It has a 50s vibe to me, but I really have no idea. It’s in fabulous shape and keeps great time.
I need to do a little more research on some of these pink finds before I decide whether I’ll keep them or sell them. I’m sure they’ll all end up in my etsy shop at some point. I often hang on to things to enjoy them for just a little while, and then I’m quite happy to let them go.
Thanks so much for reading and until next time…. Think Pink!
Wow, girl! You hit the jackpot on those beautiful finds! I agree, baby elephant head on the pitcher! The cups are breathtaking. Hey, just want you to know, that the 2 tea towels we got from you for Christmas presents were BIG hits! The Bronte sisters one went to a teacher who is an avid reader and couldn't have been more pleased. The fish and chips shop one went to our English friends who are now naturalized Americans, and they were equally thrilled! So, again, thank you! Dona
Thanks Dona! The teacups are even more beautiful in person. I'm so pleased that the tea towels went over well. I'm so glad I had them in my shop. It sounds like they were the perfect gifts.
Happy Monday Tuula! Only you could find a pink peacock clock that is so funky you just gotta love it!
You find the coolest stuff Tuula! I do see a baby elephant! All so pretty! Happy New Year friend!
Oh Tuula, I am in awe of your gorgeous finds! Each one is so beautiful! Happy Monday! Hugs
Pink is my favorite color and I love your newest finds.
So much pink fabulousness and yes, the spout looks like a baby elephant! I'm pretty much in love with your Royal Stafford tea cup and saucer. Great finds, Tuula 🙂
Thanks Diana! I don't find pink treasures every day, but when I do I snap them up. The teacup and saucer is every more pretty in person. I have them in my china cabinet just to look at and admire… for now.
I definitely see an elephant head! I am loving those teacups….both are gorgeous, but I love the second one. Hope you have a wonderful week my friend!
You scored big time. Those teacups and saucers are just beautiful. I also see the little elephant. I just love all your pink finds. So pretty
Are you sure you don't want to keep that awesome clock?
Wow, that clock is quite a find. I think you have the right idea about enjoying them awhile and then letting go when the time is right. Thanks for sharing your pink treasures at Vintage Inspiration Party.
What great pinks Tuula! Not much that is prettier than pink glass. Score on that pretty clock, looks vintage to me.. lovely! 🙂
Fabulous finds as usual, Tuula! Lovely vintage jewels that just might be valuable! Lucky you!!!
Im dying over the tea cups, I adore pretty tea items.
Pretty, pretty peacock! Did you hum the Baby Elephant Walk song when you found the pitcher? I thought of you yesterday when a dealer brought in a service for twelve with serving bowls and platters of Winn Dixie china (a grocery chain who gave away china premiums). It is white china with a pink wide edge and silver around the rims. It is luscious and looks just like you.
Great finds Tuula, Perfect for working into Valentines vignettes! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,]
