Pink Thrifted Finds

When I’m in the thrift stores I’m always on the look out for pink treasures that catch my fancy.
I’ve been lucky to find a few recently so I thought I’d share them on this first Think Pink Monday of 2015.

Here are just a few that I found before Christmas.

Pink Depression Glass Pitcher

This small pink depression glass pitcher has a lovely grapes pattern.

Does the top and spout look like a pink baby elephant head to you? Or is it just me?

Royal Stafford Teacup and Saucer

A Royal Stafford pink teacup and saucer with gold edging and pretty flowers inside the teacup…

and on the saucer.

Pink Depression Glass Creamer

A pink Windsor Diamond depression glass creamer from the 30s or 40s.

Paragon Teacup and Saucer

A Paragon pale pink bone china teacup and saucer with lovely gold details and a beautiful rose inside the teacup…

and on the saucer.

I have a thing for teacups that are plain on the outside and gorgeous on the inside.

Peacock Mantle Clock

And last but not least this peacock ceramic mantle clock. It has a sticker on the bottom marked DBE Montreal, Quebec. It has a 50s vibe to me, but I really have no idea. It’s in fabulous shape and keeps great time.

I need to do a little more research on some of these pink finds before I decide whether I’ll keep them or sell them. I’m sure they’ll all end up in my etsy shop at some point. I often hang on to things to enjoy them for just a little while, and then I’m quite happy to let them go.

Thanks so much for reading and until next time…. Think Pink!

  1. Wow, girl! You hit the jackpot on those beautiful finds! I agree, baby elephant head on the pitcher! The cups are breathtaking. Hey, just want you to know, that the 2 tea towels we got from you for Christmas presents were BIG hits! The Bronte sisters one went to a teacher who is an avid reader and couldn't have been more pleased. The fish and chips shop one went to our English friends who are now naturalized Americans, and they were equally thrilled! So, again, thank you! Dona

    1. Thanks Dona! The teacups are even more beautiful in person. I'm so pleased that the tea towels went over well. I'm so glad I had them in my shop. It sounds like they were the perfect gifts.

  2. Happy Monday Tuula! Only you could find a pink peacock clock that is so funky you just gotta love it!

    1. Thanks Diana! I don't find pink treasures every day, but when I do I snap them up. The teacup and saucer is every more pretty in person. I have them in my china cabinet just to look at and admire… for now.

  5. I definitely see an elephant head! I am loving those teacups….both are gorgeous, but I love the second one. Hope you have a wonderful week my friend!

  6. You scored big time. Those teacups and saucers are just beautiful. I also see the little elephant. I just love all your pink finds. So pretty

  7. Wow, that clock is quite a find. I think you have the right idea about enjoying them awhile and then letting go when the time is right. Thanks for sharing your pink treasures at Vintage Inspiration Party.

  8. What great pinks Tuula! Not much that is prettier than pink glass. Score on that pretty clock, looks vintage to me.. lovely! 🙂

  9. Pretty, pretty peacock! Did you hum the Baby Elephant Walk song when you found the pitcher? I thought of you yesterday when a dealer brought in a service for twelve with serving bowls and platters of Winn Dixie china (a grocery chain who gave away china premiums). It is white china with a pink wide edge and silver around the rims. It is luscious and looks just like you.

  10. Great finds Tuula, Perfect for working into Valentines vignettes! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
