Pretty Plates and Bling
I’m collecting floral plates for a plate wall that I hope to do when I have enough plates that I love, which now includes this lovely Avon plate.
I lucked out and found three sandwich bags filled with glass chandelier crystals… 16 large, 39 medium, and 24 small. More wind chime supplies.
A little bling with a little ting in the breezy summer sunshine?
Yes please.
I’m storing my crystal treasures in these fabulous just found blue Crown glass mason jars that I love. To me these are treasures in themselves. They look green because of the green background, but they’re definitely blue.
I also took two boxes of stuff to the Salvation Army store because when stuff comes in stuff has to go out. I try to live by that motto… although if I’m totally honest it doesn’t always work out that way.
But I do try my best. 😉
Thanks so much for reading!
Have a fabulous day!
What pretties! I hear that motto all the time from my other half and I ignore it most of the time. I might need it! Can't wait to see what you create!
Me too but I am with Gail. I might need it one day….that's the motto in my craft room. Some great finds Tuula, especially the chandelier. You have a lifetime supply of crystals you lucky girl! I used to have the Pinky and Blueboy pictures in my living room many years ago. I bought them at a community thrift sale for a buck. Years later I saw the same ones with the same frame at a flea market for 80$ each.
What is it about we folks of the Commonwealth and our china? My American friends just don't GET IT!
That avon plate is very pretty. I've been slowly taking stuff back to the thrift stores too… some things are like oh my.. what was I thinking?? I think I've accepted the fact that I can't makeover every cool thing I find. Not enough time! Lately I even left the store without buying a thing. My motto lately is, have an exact plan or place for whatever I buy. I've been good so far.
Oh my, everything is so pretty! I just love those two plates at the beginning 🙂 Happy Monday!
Lucky you to find the glass chandelier crystals. Reproductions ones are so expensive and finding old ones are rare and usually expensive too. Interested to see your wind chimes.
Thanks for visiting Timeless Treasure and the nice comment on the Heat Lamp.

I am so envious of all the pretty cystals! I buy them whenever I find them at a good price. Love yours…:) That Avon plate is gorgeous! I am working on a plate wall too. You can see the start of it in my post today. Have a lovely evening.
Blessings, Vicky

I have always wanted a blue Crown canning jar – love yours with the bling inside. That candle holder is going to live in many projects with all those strands you can harvest from it.
Hi Tuula
I just started following you on Bloglovin . I, too, am a a fellow Ontarian.
Although, I live in the North. I'm guessing from all the good stuff you are
able to purchase that you may live down South. I mean really-crystals, I'm swooning..
Anyway, I enjoyed your blog and will be back to visit again!
Blessings-Kimberly
