The Wishing Well Swan Song

(Think Gilligan’s Island TV show theme song.)
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale.
A tale of a wishing well.
That lived its life on a concrete pad
in garden decor hell.

This blonde is a mighty paintin’ chick…
my hubby brave and sure.
3 spray cans in our trusty(?) hands
had a spray painting cure, a spray painting cure.
The weather started getting hot…
my wilting brain was tossed.
If not for the drinking of some rum coolers
this redo would be lost, this redo would be lost.
Good sense set sail through the pores of my enchanted melting face…
with my vanity…
and my makeup too…
my clipped up hair… oh what a fright.
This wishing well
had better get done or it will be flung
onto the bonfire pile.
So this is the tale of our wishing well.
…Been here for a long, long time.
…Been begging him to burn it.
It’s a garden decor crime.
This blonde chick and my hubby too,
we did our very best.
To make this old well colourful
was our summer heatwave quest.
No fear, no shame, no decor rules
in the past or currently.
This wishing well is blameless and
as primitive as can be.
So join me here each week my friends.
I hope we made you smile.
We saved our well from decor hell (???)
and from the bonfire,
and from the bonfire,
(big finish)
and from the bonfire pile.
Temporarily!!!!! 😉
(It’s falling apart… poor thing. Oh oh, I think I’m becoming delusional.)
It’s been soooo hot… and that’s all I got.
Wishing you well! lol.
