Thrifted Finds #4 – Christmas, Clock & Candelabra

I don’t have too many choices for potential makeovers this week, but I did find a couple of things, and I have a few fabulous vintage Christmas items that I’ve put in my etsy shop.

I love vintage Christmas items, but I can’t keep everything I find so some things have to go into the shoppe. I have more to list in the next week or so, but here are just a few items for now.

Like this sweet  pair… a vintage papier mache Santa and Mrs. Claus  6 1/2″ ornament set.  Santa is carrying a bag of candy canes, and Mrs. Claus is holding some candies up in her apron.

And this vintage 13″ Santa doll.

And this lot of 21 vintage wooden ornaments.

I found this fabulous vintage Neuchatel clock, which works great and is something I really love so I’m not parting with it yet. Maybe someday though.

This fork and spoon set is a great candidate for a makeover. They’re huge… measuring 18″ long.
And I have a few ideas for this gold toned candelabra, but I have to find a few pieces that are just right.

Hopefully I get lucky at the flea market tomorrow.

Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for reading.

  1. Great finds, as usual! Can't wait to see how you transform them! I remember having vintage wooden ornaments on my family tree. You listed them from the 60's but it seems like they're older than that. Ha! Sounds strange that the 60's are "vintage." I was a teenager back then and I sure don't consider myself vintage. But maybe others do! Lol!!!

  2. Wow. What fabulous finds. Those wooden ornaments are beautiful yet make me a bit sad to think they had probably hung on someone's tree for years are somehow got donated. I hope the find a good home. Your vintage finds are always so interesting to see. Love the shape of that wonderful clock too!

  3. OOohhh…I can't wait to see what you do with that candelabra! I'm sure it is going to be amazing! Have a wonderful weekend and good luck at the flea!
