I finally reopened my etsy shop
last week, and I just wanted to show you what I’ve been working on.
Creating one-of-a-kind garden art pieces has become a passion for me. I love hunting for the treasures to be used in my wind chimes and plate flowers. To me almost everything has wind chime potential. I see wind chimes everywhere. lol.
To create this wind chime I used a vintage silver plate teapot with a lovely dark patina.
The chimes are made up of 2 silver plate forks, 2 silver plate butter knives, and 4 silver plate teaspoons that I hand stamped with the words love, faith, joy, and hope.
This wind chime was made with a large silver plate sugar bowl and six small silver plate goblets.
There’s a silver tablespoon hanging in the centre. It acts like a clanger by hitting the goblets when it’s breezy.
This wind chime has already SOLD.
I custom hand stamped the word WELCOME on the spoon for the buyer, and just shipped it to its new home.
This silver plate teapot wind chime has 4 silver plate teaspoons that I hand stamped with the french words amour, foi, espoir and joie, which mean love, faith, hope, and joy.
Along with the 4 teaspoons there are 2 silver plate forks, and 2 silver plate butter knives used for the chimes.
For this flower plate wind chime I hand stamped the silver plate teaspoons with the words Dream, Believe, Create, Share, Inspire.
I made the plate flower top portion with a lovely silver plate tray, a gold coloured ruffled and diamond-shaped glass dish, and a vintage colourful rhinestone brooch for the centre.
The 3 silver plate teaspoons are hand stamped with the words espoir, amour, and foi ( hope, love and faith).
I also love to make one-of-a-kind garden flower plates.
This one was made with a lovely large silver plate dish, a clear glass decorative bowl, a flower shaped pink glass dish with a green ruffled edge, and a clear glass sort of bud-shaped candle holder.
A vintage pearl bead and rhinestone stud earring decorates the centre.
To create this flower I used another large silver plate dish, a golden coloured ruffled diamond-shaped dish, and a clear glass candle holder.
A vintage gold tone metal brooch is the centre of the flower.
This starfish flower was made with a large silver plate dish with a fretwork edge, a clear glass decorative bowl, a lovely translucent turquoise glass starfish, and a clear glass candle holder.
A vintage rhinestone earring decorates the centre.
I also have some vintage teacup bird feeders in my shop.
They can also be used as tealight candle holders.
I’ll be adding a few new items each week as I get them finished.
Thanks so much for reading and until next time…
