Shoe Tape Dispenser Makeover

Today I have a quick and easy makeover of my shoe tape dispenser.
I actually had a pair of shoes similar to this back in my 20’s (w-a-a-a-y back) in the days when to me walking on stilts like these through the city was like walking on air. Now I have no idea how I used to walk in those things. lol.
I traded in my stilettos a long time ago for the country life and garden boots, and I’ve never regretted it.  But I do still dream of these shoes sometimes, so this makeover is in memory of my younger high-heeled self.
I think I’ll have to do a makeover just like this of my garden boots . Oh yah… I definitely have to do that!!

I was in Shoppers Drug Mart the other day buying some toiletries and I saw this plastic shoe tape dispenser in the clearance bin for $5. Well, the temptation was just too great. I just knew this plain black shoe could be something fabulous.

All I needed was some pink hi-liters, a hole punch, a sheet of plain white paper, and a glue stick.

I simply coloured the paper with the hi-liters, punched out the holes and glued them onto the shoe with the glue stick. Easy peasy!!

Here’s one side with the polka dots just around the edges, but of course this wasn’t enough polka dots for me.

I needed more polka dots!!!

Oh, I do love my polka dots! lol. Especially if they’re pink. Now that’s just enough… I think.

Thanks so much for reading!
